The Spade Kayaks Black Jack is a modern whitewater boat that meets all the requirements of steep and powerful whitewater, perfectly bridging the gap between a creeker and a river runner. Generous volume, wide ends, and a dynamic engaging hull give it the stability a full-fledged whitewater boat needs. A sporty edge allows for dynamic paddling even on smaller whitewater and makes for an excellent teaching boat.

With a volume of 285 liters, the Black Jack is aimed at paddlers between 60 and 85 kg who are looking for a maneuverable, high-floating boat. When driven flat, the Jack remains unaffected by cross currents and is easy to correct. It is agile and lively. The edge grips even at slight edges, allowing for sporty paddling even with minimal weight transfer. Despite the flat bottom and pronounced edge, the Jack can be handled predictably even in rocky whitewater, as the hull is narrow and the rails tucked. 

The ends of the jack appear sleek, but their width also makes them voluminous. This allows the boat to turn quickly, maneuver with great precision in choppy water, and provide a great deal of security over drops.

The fully integrated seat, with its ergonomic shape, allows for optimal seating height and comfortable sitting a day on the water. The pillar in the bow stabilizes the cockpit in critical pinning situations and after high drops and serves as a step out pillar to aid in rescue from a vertical pin.
